Listing is for a set of four (4) Service Caster Series #KP30 swivel casters with 5" diameter by 2" wide polyurethane on cast iron wheels with side lock brakes and bolt on swivel locks capable of supporting a total weight of 4,000 lbs. (1,000 lbs. per caster). When searching for a reliable and durable solution to your caster needs, consider Service Caster’s Series KP30 polyurethane on metal wheel casters. The Service Caster Series KP30 is ideal for material handling, carts and industrial equipment. The non-marking, non-marring polyurethane tread performs especially well on hard surfaces such as concrete, tile, and wood, while the metal core wheel stands up to heavier loads with a stable and secure roll. Featuring a Kingpinless hot forged ASTM1045 steel design that increases caster durability and integrity, the series KP30 eliminates problems associated with kingpin failure due to severe shock loading. In addition, the Kingpinless design features 3/8” diameter HRC45 steel ball bearings which absorb thrust and load in severe environments. Lastly, Service Caster’s Series KP30 top plate casters are finely crafted with zinc plating, grease fittings, and 4 position notches to accept 4-position locks. These highly versatile casters are ideal for a wide range of applications, such as dollies, platform trucks, warehouse carts and freight terminals. Even drywall carts, welding carts, and wall panel carts will be ready to roll on the Series KP30, keeping you moving forward. • These Service Caster Series #KP30 Polyurethane on Cast Iron casters offer various wheel sizes and mounting heights: 4” Wheel: 5-5/8” mounting height; 5” wheel: 6-1/2” mounting height; 6” wheel: 7-1/2” mounting height; 8" wheel: 9-1/2" mounting height. • Weight capacity ranges from 700 lbs on the 4” caster, 1000 lbs on the 5”, 1200 lbs on the 6” and 1250 lbs. on the 8”. • Top plate measures at 4" x 4-1/2" with a bolt hole pattern of 2-5/8" x 3-5/8" to 3" x 3" and can either be bolted or welded on. • Brake options include a side lock brake (SLB) which applies a positive locking force against the wheel hub which prevents the wheel from moving freely, or a bolt-on swivel lock (BSL) that when inserted into one of 4 notches found on the swivel raceway converts a swivel caster to rigid for straight-line tracking at any 90 degree angle. Combining both brake types ensures complete immobility over both swivel and wheel on the caster.
