Listing is for a set of four (4) Service Caster Series #20 swivel casters, four (4) swivel 7/16" grip ring stem casters with total lock brakes, 6” diameter by 1-1/2” wide high temperature phenolic wheels. Supports a total weight of 1,200lbs (300lbs/per caster). The Service Caster Series #20 is ideal for bakery racks, light and medium duty material handling, carts, equipment, and shop projects. The zinc plated finish provides durability under any condition, and the high temp phenolic wheels- quieter than comparable steel wheels- have a high resistance to impact damage, providing protection for floors in commercial and industrial settings. Sleeve bearings provide a metal sleeve inserted in a wheel to rest directly on the axle. This option is only recommended when rolling ease is less critical. This caster is ideal for use in high temperatures associated with baking, performing consistently in temperature ratings of 475°F continuous usage to 525°F intermittent usage. Not only are they resistant to water, oil, and grease, but because they are non-metallic, these wheels are spark proof, keeping you safely moving forward. Count on us to move you forward. • These Service Caster Series #20 High Temperature Phenolic casters offer various wheel sizes and mounting heights: 3” Wheel: 4-1/8” mounting height; 4” wheel: 5-1/8” mounting height; 5” wheel: 6-1/8” mounting height; 6" wheel: 7-1/8" mounting height. • Weight Capacity: 3", 4", 5", and 6": 300 lbs Capacity/Caster • All casters feature a 7/16” diameter by 1-3/8” long grip ring stem. Service Caster recommends using a drill or hardware gauge, a 7/16” wrench, or our paper wrap method to ensure the grip ring stem diameter needed is 7/16”. Paper Wrap Method: take a small strip of paper and wrap it around the stem. Mark the paper with a pen where it overlaps, keep the wrap tight. Measure the strip from the start of the wrap to the mark. The top lock brake places a positive locking force against the wheel tread locking the wheel only. The total lock brake simultaneously locks the wheel and the swivel for a complete stationary position. The posi lock brake places a positive locking force against the wheel tread similar to the top lock brake, but the pedal is located above the wheel tread rather than on the side of the wheel.
