Description

Listing is for a set of four (4) Service Caster Series #20 1-7/8" expanding stem 316 stainless steel swivel casters with 3" diameter by 1-1/4" wide soft rubber wheels and top locking brakes capable of supporting a total weight of 700 lbs. (175 lbs./caster.). When searching for a reliable and durable solution to your caster needs, consider Service Caster’s 316 stainless steel soft rubber casters. SS316 casters are ideal for light and medium duty material handling, carts, equipment, and shop projects. Built with 316 stainless steel, which contains additional molybdenum and nickel content, making it more corrosion resistant than standard 304 stainless steel. The soft rubber wheels- resistant to most chemicals and oils- combine a soft tread on a hard rubber core, offering quiet movement and a cushioned ride. Mounting options include top plate, bolt hole, expanding stem and standard and metric threaded stem sizes. Service Caster is unsurpassed in quality, reliability, and excellent customer service. Count on us to move you forward. • These Service Caster Series #20 Soft Rubber casters offer various wheel sizes and mounting heights: 3” Wheel: 4-1/8” mounting height; 3-1/2” wheel: 4-5/8” mounting height; 4” wheel: 5-1/8” mounting height; 5” wheel: 6-1/8” mounting height. • Weight Capacity: 3": 175 lbs, 3.5" & 4": 200 lbs, and 5": 275 lbs Capacity/Caster • All casters feature an expanding stem that is 2-11/16” in length. The expanding stem comes in 10 different diameters: (3/4”, 7/8”, 1”, 1-1/8”, 1-1/4”, 1-3/8”, 1-1/2”, 1-5/8”, 1-3/4”, and 1-7/8”). Before ordering, Service Caster recommends measuring the inside diameter of your tubing- this measurement will determine the corresponding expanding stem diameter needed. Not sure how to measure or don't see the size you need? Call us or send us a message. • Brake options include a top lock brake (TLB) or a total lock brake (TTL). The top lock brake (TLB), which is featured on 3", 3-1/2", 4", and 5" wheel sizes, places a positive locking force against the wheel tread locking the wheel only. The total lock brake (TTL), which is featured on all wheel sizes, also places a positive locking force against the wheel tread, but the total lock brake (TTL) simultaneously locks the wheel and the swivel for a complete stationary position.
