Description
Listing is for one (1) Service Caster Series #20 swivel caster with a 3.5" diameter by 1-1/4" wide phenolic wheel and a 7/16" grip ring stem with brake capable of supporting 300 lbs./caster. When searching for a reliable and durable solution to your caster needs, consider Service Caster’s Series 20 phenolic casters. The Service Caster Series #20 is ideal for light and medium duty material handling, carts, equipment, and shop projects. The phenolic wheels have a high resistance to impact damage while providing protection for floors in commercial and industrial settings. Phenolic wheels not only provide higher load capacities and impact resistance than comparable wheels, but are also resistant to most chemicals and oils. Mounting options include top plate, bolt hole, grip ring stem, standard and metric threaded stem sizes. All rolling on a finely crafted ball bearing design and zinc plated finish that provides durability under any condition and keeps you safely moving forward. Service Caster is unsurpassed in quality, reliability, and excellent customer service. Count on us to move you forward. • These Service Caster Series #20 Phenolic casters offer various wheel sizes and mounting heights: 4” Wheel: 5-1/8” mounting height; 5” wheel: 6-1/8” mounting height; 6” wheel: 7-1/2” mounting height. • Weight Capacity: 4": 450 lbs Capacity Per Caster; 5": 450 lbs Capacity Per Caster; 6": 450 lbs Capacity Per Caster • All casters feature a 7/16” diameter by 1-3/8” long grip ring stem. Service Caster recommends using a drill or hardware gauge, a 7/16” wrench, or our paper wrap method to ensure the grip ring stem diameter needed is 7/16”. Paper Wrap Method: take a small strip of paper and wrap it around the stem. Mark the paper with a pen where it overlaps, keep the wrap tight. Measure the strip from the start of the wrap to the mark. The ruler should measure 1-3/8". Don’t see the size you need? Call us! • Brake options include a top lock brake, a total lock brake, or a posi lock brake. The top lock brake places a positive locking force against the wheel tread locking the wheel only. The total lock brake simultaneously locks the wheel and the swivel for a complete stationary position. The posi lock brake places a positive locking force against the wheel tread similar to the top lock brake, but the pedal is located above the wheel tread rather than on the side of the wheel.
