The soft flat tread is made of thermoplastic rubber that is non-marking and non-marring, and on the polyolefin core provides a long lasting, high capacity wheel that is capable of easy rolling under heavy loads. Finely crafted with double ball bearing heat treated raceways, these versatile casters are ideal for a wide range of applications, such as dollies, platform trucks, warehouse carts and freight terminals. Or ensure a smooth and secure ride for food service carts, hotel housekeeping carts, and industrial and commercial equipment. Even drywall carts, welding carts, and wall panel carts will be ready to roll on the Series 35, keeping you moving forward. • These Service Caster Series #35 Thermoplastic Rubber Flat Tread casters offer various wheel sizes and mounting heights: 4” Wheel: 5-5/8” mounting height; 5” wheel: 6-1/2” mounting height; 6” wheel: 7-1/2” mounting height; 8" wheel: 9-1/2" mounting height. • Weight capacity ranges from 300 lbs on the 4” caster, 350 lbs on the 5”, 500 lbs on the 6” and 600 lbs. on the 8”. • Top plate measures at 4-1/2" x 6-1/4" with a bolt hole pattern of 2-7/16" x 4-15/16" to 3-3/8" x 5-1/4" and can either be bolted or welded on. • Brake options include a side lock brake (SLB) which applies a positive locking force against the wheel hub which prevents the wheel from moving freely, or a bolt-on swivel lock (BSL) that when inserted into one of 4 notches found on the swivel raceway converts a swivel caster to rigid for straight-line tracking at any 90 degree angle. Combining both brake types ensures complete immobility over both swivel and wheel on the caster.
