Description

Listing is for a set of four (4) Service Caster Series #55 swivel casters with 6" diameter by 2.5" wide polyurethane on cast iron wheels with side lock brakes capable of supporting a total weight of 6,400 lbs. (1,600 lbs. per caster). When searching for a reliable and durable solution to your caster needs, consider Service Caster Series 55 cold forged casters. The Service Caster Series #55 is ideal for heavy duty platform trucks, welding fixture tables, steel handling carts, tow line carts and power drawn equipment. The cold forged top plate and yoke base is bright zinc plated and treated for long wear and added strength. Wheels come in either phenolic- which are highly resistant to impact damage, providing protection for floors in commercial and industrial settings- or non-marking, non-marring polyurethane tread, which performs especially well on hard surfaces such as concrete, tile, and wood. • These Service Caster Series #55 Polyurethane on Cast Iron caster offer one wheel size and mounting height: 6” Wheel: 7-1/2”. • Weight capacity ranges from 1,600 lbs on the 6” caster & 1,800 lbs on the 8”. • Top plate measures at 4-1/2" x 6-1/4" with a bolt hole pattern of 2-7/16" x 4-15/16" to 3-3/8" x 5-1/4" and can either be bolted or welded on. • Brake options include a side lock brake (SLB) which applies a positive locking force against the wheel hub which prevents the wheel from moving freely.
