Listing is for a set of four (4) Service Caster Series #KP30 casters, two (2) swivel casters with bolt on swivel locks and two (2) rigid casters, with 6" diameter by 2" wide brown high temperature phenolic wheel and bronze wheel bearings capable of supporting a total weight of 4,800 lbs. The Service Caster Series KP30 is ideal for material handling, carts and industrial equipment. The phenolic wheels roll easier and quieter than comparable steel wheels, and are highly resistant to impact damage, providing protection for floors in commercial and industrial settings. Additionally, they are resistant to water, oil, grease, and are non-metallic, providing spark proof protection. This caster is ideal for use in high temperatures associated with baking, performing consistently in temperature ratings of 475°F continuous usage to 525°F intermittent usage. Featuring a Kingpinless hot forged ASTM1045 steel design that increases caster durability and integrity, the series 92 eliminates problems associated with kingpin failure due to severe shock loading. In addition, the Kingpinless design features 3/8” diameter HRC45 steel ball bearings which absorb thrust and load in severe environments. Lastly, Service Caster’s Series KP30 casters are finely crafted with zinc plating, grease fittings, and 4 position notches to accept 4-position locks. These highly versatile casters are ideal for a wide range of applications, such as dollies, platform trucks, warehouse carts and freight terminals. Even drywall carts, welding carts, and wall panel carts will be ready to roll on the Series KP30, keeping you moving forward. • These Service Caster Series #KP30 High Temperature Phenolic casters offer various wheel sizes and mounting heights: 4” Wheel: 5-5/8” mounting height; 5” wheel: 6-1/2” mounting height; 6” wheel: 7-1/2” mounting height; 8" wheel: 9-1/2" mounting height. • Weight Capacity: 4": 800 lbs Capacity/Caster, 5": 1000 lbs Capacity/Caster, 6": 1200 lbs. Capacity/Caster, and 8": 1250 lbs Capacity/Caster • Top plate measures at 4" x 4-1/2" with a bolt hole pattern of 2-5/8" x 3-5/8" to 3" x 3" and can either be bolted or welded on. • Brake options include a side lock brake (SLB) which applies a positive locking force against the wheel hub which prevents the wheel from moving freely, or a bolt-on swivel lock (BSL) that when inserted into one of 4 notches found on the swivel raceway converts a swivel caster to rigid for straight-line tracking at any 90 degree angle. Combining both brake types ensures complete immobility over both swivel and wheel on the caster.
